PLACES COLLECTION
''A destination is not a place, but a new way of seeing things''.
The meaning of the new Drapenn collection is perfectly enclosed in this sentence by the writer Henry Miller. PLACES wants to be a tribute to the theme of travel intended as a path of personal growth and development. The meaning of a journey does not lie in the place we visit but in what we take with us on our return.
In our minds and hearts, the people, the traditions, the colors and the scents we meet while traveling merge with our experiences, creating a unique memory, different from anyone else's memory.
Through a capsule collection of 10 limited edition items, we wanted to give expression to what, some cities around the world, have left inside us. Each garment comes from a deep research of different fabrics, textures and designs and is accompanied by an illustration and a story of what inspired the work of our designers. For the launch of the collection we were inspired by Jules Verne's novel "Around the World in 80 Days". Indeed, in the story we want to tell, each garment will be a stop on this journey to discover places and ourselves. Once every 3 weeks will be published a new design,stay tuned then!
